Store & QR registration, coupons/wheel, till validation, segments and automation

Store & QR Registration

Store & QR Registration manages your retail store's digital customer registration page and the QR points inside the store. A customer scans the code in the window, the fitting room or at the till, fills in a short form, and is added to your customer list.

How do I open this screen? From the left menu, go to Bumerang → Retail → Store & QR Registration.

1. Store Settings

Data-protection text: the disclosure text comes from Portal Language Settings; it is not written again on this screen.

Confirm your changes with Save.

2. QR Points

You can define several QR codes inside the store and measure each one's performance separately. To add a point:

Table columns: TYPE, LABEL, LOCATION, VIEWS (how many times the code was opened) and LINK. Each row carries Copy (puts the link on the clipboard) and QR (downloads the code) buttons.

Why separate points? The view counts show which location actually works. If the window QR is never scanned, you need to move it or make it bigger.

3. Collected Records

Shows the total number of records and how many of them gave commercial-message consent. The detailed list, the gender/age/date filters and CSV export have moved to the Reports screen — use the See in Reports link to get there.

4. Live preview

The page as the customer will see it is shown live on the right. Use Refresh to update it.

Coupons & Wheel

Coupons & Wheel lets you create discount coupons redeemed at the till and show a spin-to-win wheel after the registration form. Because you reward completing the form, the completion rate rises noticeably.

How do I open this screen? From the left menu, go to Bumerang → Retail → Coupons & Wheel.

Retail Coupons & Wheel screen

1. Coupons

When defining a new coupon you fill in:

Add saves it. The list columns are: TITLE, TYPE, VALUE, DISTRIBUTION, GENERATED/USED and STATUS. Use Edit to change a coupon and the Active switch to pause it without removing it.

The GENERATED/USED column shows the campaign's real effect. A coupon generated often but redeemed rarely is either too weak or has a condition that is too demanding.

2. Spin-to-Win Wheel

Segments

Four fields are defined for each wheel segment:

Use + Add segment for a new segment and Save Wheel to store your changes.

Balancing the wheel: give "no prize" segments too much weight and customers leave disappointed; put a prize on every segment and the campaign cost runs away from you. Weight small prizes heavily and the big prize lightly.

Till / Coupon Validation

Till / Coupon Validation is the screen where you check whether a customer's coupon code is valid and then redeem it. The cashier keeps this screen open.

How do I open this screen? From the left menu, go to Bumerang → Retail → Till / Validate Coupon.

The validation flow

  1. Type the code into the Coupon code field, or scan it with a barcode reader.
  2. Press Check. The screen shows whether the coupon is valid, its type and its condition.
  3. If it is valid, apply the discount at the till.
  4. Then press Redeem.
Codes are single-use. Once redeemed, the same code is never valid again. So apply the discount first, then press Redeem — doing it the other way round wastes the coupon if the sale is cancelled.

Common situations

Retail Request Monitor

The Retail Request Monitor shows live customer requests raised inside the store. When a customer scans the code in a fitting room or an aisle and asks "do you have this in a 42?", the request lands here.

How do I open this screen? From the left menu, go to Bumerang → Retail → Request Monitor.

Retail Request Monitor screen

The heading shows the store name and the number of open requests (for example "1 open").

Action buttons

Keep the screen open: requests land here in real time. Leaving it open on the floor supervisor's tablet or the till computer is what stops a customer waiting in a fitting room for several minutes.

Defining request points: which cabins and aisles can raise a request is set in the QR Points section of the Retail → Store & QR Registration screen.

Segments

Smart Segments groups your store customers automatically using RFM analysis and lets you send an SMS to each group in one click. Instead of working out who should receive what and when, you send the offer that suits the group the system has identified.

How do I open this screen? From the left menu, go to Bumerang → Retail → Segments.

Retail Smart Segments screen

1. The segments

Customers are split into six groups by visit frequency and recency. Each card shows the customer count, the definition of the group and the recommended action:

The Send SMS (N) button under each card starts a send to the N customers in that segment.

2. SMS to a segment

Pressing the send button opens the message dialog:

3. Customers table

Use the selector at the top to filter the list by segment: All, Champions, Loyal, New, At risk, Dormant, Lost (each with its customer count).

Table columns:

Retail Reports

Retail Reports shows all the data collected by the store module on one screen: how many registrations came in, which QR point is working, how many wheel prizes were handed out, whether the coupons were redeemed. The detailed customer list and CSV export live here too.

How do I open this screen? From the left menu, go to Bumerang → Retail → Reports.

3. Collected Records and filters

Filter applies your selection; Clear resets it.

Table columns: NAME, PHONE, E-MAIL, GENDER, AGE, SOURCE, CONSENT, DATE. Personal data is masked for data-protection reasons.

4. Export

Data-protection responsibility: the downloaded file contains unmasked personal data. Mind your obligations as data controller when you share, store and delete it.

Automation

Retail Automation is the rule engine that sends automatic SMS, coupons and campaigns when data is collected. You set it up once and the system then acts on its own — on a birthday, on a wheel prize, or when a customer drifts away.

How do I open this screen? From the left menu, go to Bumerang → Retail → Automation.

Retail Automation screen

The sent and scheduled counts appear at the top.

How it works

Real-time triggers (new registration, wheel) fire immediately; birthday and win-back rules run automatically every day. Messages enter a queue and leave through the existing delivery engine. They are rescheduled around quiet hours and never sent to people without consent.

New rule

1. Definition and trigger

2. Audience conditions

3. Action

4. Timing and limits

Save Rule stores it; Cancel closes the form.

Rules and Recent activity

Defined rules appear in the list above; with none defined it reads "No rules yet." The Recent activity table shows what has been sent, with RULE, PHONE, STATUS and TIME columns.

Store Texts

Store Texts is where you edit every piece of text the customer sees, per language. From the form labels to the wheel messages, from the thank-you text to the fitting-room call prompts — it is all here.

How do I open this screen? From the left menu, go to Bumerang → Retail → Store Texts.

Retail Store Texts screen

Switch language with the Türkçe / English tabs at the top and write the texts separately for each. Which languages appear depends on the Languages selection on the Store & QR Registration screen.

An empty field falls back to the grey default text. So you do not have to fill everything in — write only what you want to change.

1. Welcome

2. Form

The field labels on the registration form: First name label, Last name label, Phone label, Email label, Date of birth label, Gender label.

3. Thank you

4. Wheel & Coupon

5. Aisle / Fitting room

Confirm your changes with Save Texts.

Retail Studio

Retail Studio is where you change the visual design of the store page. As you adjust the settings on the left, the live preview on the right updates instantly.

How do I open this screen? From the left menu, go to Bumerang → Retail → Studio.

1. Colour & Theme

2. Logo & Background

Readability: a busy background image can make the form fields on top of it unreadable. Prefer a plain or blurred image; if in doubt, leave the background empty and rely on the primary colour alone.

3. Live preview

Changes appear instantly in the preview on the right — you see the result without saving. The Back to store settings button returns you to the Store & QR Registration screen.
