Useroam Go Staff App

The staff mobile app: install, screens and role guides

What is Useroam Go?

Useroam Go is the mobile app for the staff on the floor at businesses using Useroam. Hotel, restaurant, event and store staff see the requests assigned to them, their daily tasks and the status board on their own phone — take them on and close them without ever opening the admin panel.

Who uses it? Shift teams such as housekeeping, technical services, reception, waiting staff and kitchen. Every staff member defined in the panel gets their own account in the app.

1. What the app does

Anything done in the app appears in the panel immediately, and changes made in the panel show up in the app.

2. Installing

iOS (iPhone / iPad)

The app is published on the App Store as Useroam Go. Install it by searching the App Store, or from the App Store link on the Bumerang → BUSINESS (İŞLETME) → Staff (Personel) screen in the panel.

Android

The app is published on Google Play as Useroam Go. Install it by searching Google Play, or with the Google Play button on the panel's Staff screen.

Web app (PWA)

If you prefer not to install from a store, the same app also runs in the browser:

  1. Open panel.useroam.com/m in the phone's browser.
  2. Choose Add to Home screen from the browser menu.
  3. The app appears on the home screen with its own icon and opens full screen.

Once added to the home screen it behaves like a normal app: it can send notifications and shows an offline screen when the connection drops.

Download page: If you would rather give staff a single address, share panel.useroam.com/m/_indir.php.

3. Signing in

Staff do not create their own credentials; the business manager defines them in the panel:

Useroam Go sign-in screen

  1. Open the app. Under the Useroam Go title it says "Hotel staff app", and "Your phone and password are provided by your business manager. If you forgot your password, a new one is sent via SMS."
  2. Enter your number in Mobile phone (5XX XXX XX XX; a leading 0 or +90 is accepted).
  3. Enter your Password.
  4. Tap Sign In. The button shows "Signing in..." and the app opens.
  5. If you work at more than one branch you are asked Which branch are you at?: choose it and tap Continue.

Forgot password

Useroam Go, Forgot password screen

  1. Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen.
  2. Enter your number where it says "Enter your registered mobile phone and we will send a new password by SMS."
  3. Tap Send SMS ("Sending…").
  4. You see "If your number is registered, a new password has been sent by SMS.". Sign in with the password from the SMS; Back to sign in returns to the sign-in screen.

If you continue without a number you see "Enter your mobile phone first.".

If sign-in fails

These messages appear in English when your phone is set to English, otherwise in Turkish.

Creating accounts is covered on the Staff Accounts and Departments page.

Network restriction: When "Allow access only from the business network" is on in the Staff App Access Security card of the panel's Staff screen, staff can open the app only from the business Wi-Fi. Managers can sign in from anywhere. This prevents jobs from being ticked off remotely outside a shift.

Demo account: To try the app, sign in with mobile 5000000000 and password demo2026. The demo account is view only; a "Demo mode: viewing only, changes are not saved." strip is shown at the top. Trying to save anything shows "Changes are disabled in demo mode; this app is for viewing only."

Staff Accounts and Departments

Useroam Go accounts are created in the panel. This page covers adding staff, setting up departments and what the roles mean.

How do I open this screen? Open Staff from the left menu.

Business Staff screen

1. Adding staff

  1. Click Add Staff.
  2. Enter the first name and last name.
  3. Enter the mobile number in Phone (e.g. 5301234567). This number is the app username.
  4. Choose a Role: Staff or Manager.
  5. Tick one or more departments under Department(s).
  6. (Optional) If they should also get job notifications by email, type their address in Email (optional); the Email notifications switch comes on.
  7. Save.

You do not type the password. It is generated automatically and sent to the staff member (SMS when the panel is in Turkish, WhatsApp when in English). Staff who forget it use Forgot password on the app's sign-in screen to get a new one by SMS.

2. Roles

3. Departments and what the app shows

  1. In the Departments section, type a department name and click Add.
  2. Next to each department, tick what it sees in the app:
    • Requests, spots, tasks
    • Orders, calls, floor
    • Event QR scanning
  3. Changes save as soon as you tick a box.

Staff screen, Departments section: three boxes next to each department

Staff only see the sections ticked for their own departments. Staff without a department only see the Profile tab, with the warning "No work area has been given to you yet".

Shortcuts: Add restaurant departments (Cleaning, Technical, Waiter, Kitchen) and Add hotel departments (Housekeeping, Technical, Restaurant, Front Desk). They leave existing departments untouched. Switch off a department you do not use with Deactivate.

4. How requests reach a department

Every request type is linked to a department. When a request is opened it goes to that department's staff (in a restaurant it is assigned automatically to the least busy person). Points and rooms can also have an owner (a person or a department); you set this on the Operations screen.

5. Staff-created requests

When Staff can open requests from the app is on in the Staff-created requests card, staff can open requests themselves. The request goes to the right department and managers see who opened it (Opened by:). When off, only managers open requests.

6. Email notifications

A person with an email address and Email notifications on also gets emails in addition to app notifications. Manager: job assignment, overdue (SLA and daily tasks 30 minutes late), job completed, task completed and out-of-range reading. Staff: when a job is assigned to them and when a daily task assigned to them is late. Nudges and request messages send no email. Full table: the "Email notifications" section of the Staff page.

The Staff app card has these links: Open the app (web app), App Store, Google Play and a Download page you can share with staff.

On the demo account the card also shows trial credentials: phone 5000000000, password demo2026. The demo sign-in is view only; changes are not saved.

App Screens by Department

Useroam Go does not show everyone the same screen. The tabs a staff member sees depend on three things: the modules enabled at the venue, the staff member's departments and their role (staff or manager).

1. Module level

Staff only see modules that are installed and switched on at the venue: hotel, restaurant, digital menu, event. A disabled module is inactive both in the app and on the guest side.

2. Department level

On the panel's Staff screen, the Departments section shows three boxes next to each department. They decide what staff in that department see in the app:

Staff in several departments see every section ticked for any of their departments. Deactivated departments do not count.

Staff without a department only see the Profile tab, with the warning "No work area has been given to you yet". Fix: add the person to at least one department in the panel.

Managers see everything regardless of department, open the Summary tab and get extra tools (Assign, Nudge, Add task). See Manager Tools and Tasks.

For step-by-step guides by role see the Role Guides pages (Restaurant staff, Restaurant manager, Hotel staff, Hotel manager, Floor and event staff).

3. Which jobs do I see?

If the venue has both rooms and areas, a Rooms | Areas switch appears at the top.

4. Tabs

The bottom bar can show: Requests, Rooms (or Points), Tasks, Orders, Calls, Floor, Summary (managers only), Event and Profile. Each has its own page in this book. The Your access section on the Profile tab lists what your account can open.

5. Notifications

The app sends push notifications to the phone:

In the web app (PWA) version, notifications only work if the app has been added to the home screen and notification permission is granted.

6. FAQ

The Clean button is dimmed. There is an open job at that place; the screen says "There is an open job at this spot. It turns clean automatically when the job is closed." Close it with Close with photo; the place turns clean by itself.

Clean locked: open job at this spot

A point is missing from my list. You only see places you are responsible for. Ask your manager to make you responsible for it.

It says "No work area has been given to you yet". You have not been added to a department yet, so you cannot see requests or points. Tell your manager.

Staff without a department: No work area has been given to you yet

It asks for photos when closing. The venue requires photos for this request type; add the required number.

I got a "Nudge" notification. Your manager is reminding you of a job; do it and close it.

I got a "Task overdue" notification. The time of a daily task assigned to you passed 30 minutes ago; do the task and mark it.

I also get notifications by email. If your manager entered your email address in the panel and turned on Email notifications, you also get an email when a job is assigned to you and when a task assigned to you is late. To stop them, tell your manager.

Can I open a request myself? If the venue allows it, + New Request appears at the top of Requests.

Useroam Go, Calls tab: table calls and the I'm here button

  3. Tap I'm here. The call closes and the screen shows Closed. It also drops from the panel's Operations screen.

With no calls waiting you see "No pending calls.".

Where does the table number come from? From the table QR code the guest scanned. Without table QR codes, calls arrive without a table. Waiters who picked tables under My tables only get notifications for their own tables (see Orders).

Floor

The Floor tab shows the recognised guests currently inside the venue. Guests who have joined the Wi-Fi and been recognised before are listed here, so staff serve them knowing who is in the room.

How do I open it? The Floor item in the bottom bar.

Useroam Go – Floor tab

What it shows

With nobody recognised inside, the screen reads "Floor is calm now" and "No recognized guests inside right now.". Otherwise guests are listed as cards.

Each guest card shows how long they have been inside (e.g. "25 min inside"), Last visit: how many days ago, a First visit badge for newcomers and a Champion badge for the most loyal guests. Phone numbers are masked.

The strip at the top shows the floor's pulse: "Floor, last 15 min: 6 menu activity" (guests browsing the digital menu in the last 15 minutes).

This tab is the on-the-floor counterpart of the panel's Live Radar and Guest 360° screens: recognising a returning guest, remembering a birthday or a preference, and serving accordingly.

Personal data: How much guest detail is shown depends on the viewing guest data (unmasking) permission on the panel's Module Permissions screen.

Event

The Event tab is for scanning event guests' QR codes. At each service point (coffee, food, cloakroom and so on) the guest shows the QR code on their phone; you scan it and their allowance is used.

Who sees it? When the venue has an active event: managers, and staff whose department has Event QR scanning ticked.

Useroam Go, Event tab: scanning point, Scan QR, summary counts

5. Messages and what to do

Summary

The Summary tab is the day's operational scorecard — where you stand mid-shift, and what got done by the end of it, on one screen.

How do I open it? The Summary item in the bottom bar. Only managers see this tab.

Useroam Go, Summary tab

1. Today

2. Room status (housekeeping)

The current split of rooms: clean, dirty, faulty. Every status change you make on the Rooms tab updates these figures immediately.

3. Staff performance · today

Lists how many jobs each person completed during the day. With nothing closed yet it reads "No completed tasks today yet." This is the section to check at shift handover.

Each person is listed with the number of jobs finished and the average time, e.g. "4 tasks · avg 12 min".

4. For managers

Useroam Go, Summary tab

The Summary tab is for managers. For manager tools such as assigning, nudging and adding tasks, see Manager tools and tasks.

Profile

The Profile tab holds your account, language and notification settings and the sign-out button. Staff without a department only see this tab.

How do I open it? The Profile tab in the bottom bar.

Manager Tools and Tasks

This page is for people using the app with the manager role. Managers see everything; staff only see jobs for their own departments and the points they are responsible for. Managers also get the tools below.

Useroam Go, request cards in manager view: Assign and Nudge buttons

1. Giving a job to someone: Assign

  1. Tap Assign on a request card (or on an open job in a point's menu).
  2. Pick the person from Assign to whom?. Starred people belong to the request's department and are listed first.
  3. The screen shows Assigned, the person was notified.

Useroam Go, Assign to whom? list

The chosen person gets A job was assigned to you. If someone else held the job, they get Job moved to someone else. If the list is empty you see "No active staff at this venue".

If nobody is chosen, the system assigns the job itself: to the least busy staff member in the request's department.

2. Reminding: Nudge

  1. Tap Nudge on the request card.
  2. The job holder gets a Reminder notification ("… is waiting"). The screen shows Reminder sent.

  5. Pick hours under At which hours? (tap to select). If you pick no hour, it is done once during the day.
  6. Tick Photo required if you want proof.
  7. For measurement tasks open Advanced (type, measurement): Task type (Opening, Closing, Round, Measurement, Security), Measurement unit (optional), Min and Max. An out-of-range reading opens a work order automatically.
  8. Tap Save. The screen shows Saved. If the name is empty you see "Enter the task name".
